mGuide GST is a wireless communication system that streamlines communication and facilitates work organization in the HORECA industry.

mGuide GST is suitable for communication between, for example:

• the kitchen or the expediting station and the waitstaff in a restaurant,
• waiters and back-of-house staff, e.g., at special events,
• the maître d’ and staff during catering or receptions,
• hotel reception and cleaning staff or security.

The mGuide G1 base station, located in the kitchen at the food expediting area, serves as a coordination center for waiters. The chef’s assistant managing the expediting station can use the radio’s microphone to notify waiters about a ready order awaiting pickup. The PTT button for transmitting can be activated hands-free using a special PTT foot pedal (FS-01 – PTT foot pedal for SM-01), as hands may be occupied with work.
Meanwhile, waiters equipped with pocket-sized G2 radios and discreet headset-microphones can instantly place drink orders with the bar or confirm their readiness to pick up orders from the expediting station.

In a hotel, the mGuide GST system can also be used to coordinate the work of the room cleaning crew. When a guest checks out, staff can check the room and mini-bar status, reporting to reception via the pocket-sized G2 radio.

During events, banquets, or outdoor gatherings, GST radio sets, in any configuration of G1 and G2 devices, can be used to coordinate catering staff, security, lighting operators, or those responsible for the event’s scenario.
