Okayo FreeCom is a modern hands-free intercom system for full-duplex two-way communication. The system is dedicated to hospitals, clinics, medical facilities, laboratories, and emergency medical teams. It allows for the creation of an immediate and professional communication system for medical and hospital personnel.
It enables simultaneous conference-mode conversation for up to 6 people from an unlimited number of users on the same radio channel. The system operates license-free (with encryption capability) on the 863 MHz ~ 865 MHz radio frequency with 4GFSK digital modulation, making it resistant to interference from other nearby radio systems such as Wi-Fi, wireless microphones, and wireless microports. FreeCom has 7 independent communication channels (all can operate in the same area simultaneously), on which an unlimited number of users can listen and join conversations.

The Okayo FreeCom system can be used as a two-way audio system for training and discussion panels for both on-site and remote participants. It offers full connectivity with external audio platforms and communicators such as Zoom and Teams, providing doctors with clear two-way real-time communication with remote seminars, between lecture halls, and similar locations.

FreeCom is a digital two-way system with a wide range of applications, based on four main principles:
Flexibility – each intercom can be set as a Master unit, Sub-Master, or Listen-only for the group.
Control – Master unit priority function over others to maintain order in the team.
Security – digital channel access encryption. For private transmissions, a closed group can be encrypted to prevent unwanted persons from eavesdropping on conversations.
Wireless – no base station, installation, or device registration. The system can be used both indoors and outdoors.
